So March 19, 2008 we closed on the F st house. That means it officially was sold and keys handed over to the new owner. Tom and I learned so much that we can use for our next “investment”. We also learned a lot we can help our clients with when they want to try their hands and investments for “flipping”.

Spring is here!!!

March 5, 2008 · 1 Comment

Well sort of… as good as spring in the Pacific NW can be at times. I have just been so happy with all the sunshine. It seems that even if it is cloudy and raining in the AM the afternoons are lovely.

I just found out the other day that Tom likes Crocus flowers
so I have posted these just for him (:

These strange looking bugs have been hanging out by our front door. I think they are some sort of stick bug, but they are pretty cool.

Tile party!

December 29, 2007 · Leave a Comment

We are finally installing our backsplash in the F st house. Tom’s friend Bill came over and showed us how to do it as we had only done floors previously. Notice Picard is supervising.
Sieann Counting how many tiles it takes to make a backsplash.

Looking good even not done and no grout yet…

After all that hard work supervising Picard has to take a nap.

Hopefully the next pictures will be of my fully completed backsplash. YAY.

Tis the season Christmas 2007

We decided to have some fun and had a friend take a couple of pictures of the dogs and us. Picard hated the antlers so much that we put them on Tom instead. I think it’s a good look (: Notice how happy Picard looks because the other dogs had to wear antlers and he didn’t. Some of the advantages of being the senior dog.

Tractor Tom Summer 2007

Here’s Tom making sure the dumptruck doesn’t get to full!! we moved over 12 yards of dirt and debris from the side of our garage to make room for gravel. Gravel sure does make a property look nice.
